What you need
- You will need a laptop or desktop computer running Windows with internet access.
- You will need to have a word-processing application installed, such as Microsoft Word.
- You will be provided with login credentials to the new site by the team leader.
- You will need to become familiar with the editing and other features of WordPress.
Log in credentials
You will receive an email initiated by the team leader.
The email will be titled [XXXX] Login Details.
I will contain your username for the site and links to the new website for resetting your password, and for logging in in the future. The email content will look something like this:
Username: yourusername
To set your password, visit the following address:
https://xxxx.dvhh.org/wp-login.php?login=yourusername&key=xxxxxx&action=rp
https://xxxx.dvhh.org/wp-login.php
Click on the first link. I will take you to the site and show you a text entry box for entering your password for the site. Follow the instructions to complete that task. Be sure to record your username and password and the site link (second link in the email) so you will be able to retrieve it in the future.
